Amethyst at it’s finest. Cathedrals occur more rarely, as might be expected. The narrow, tall shape is reminiscent of cathedral architecture seemingly reaching to the sky.
This piece measures framed at 20x12.5 inches (51x32cm) and is the largest piece in this series that I have created to date. It is watercolor painted on heavyweight hot-press Arches paper, with archival matboard and backing board. I’ve signed and dated the painting on the back of the piece. Comes framed as shown in mahogany.
